Campus Technology: Oakland City U Implements Self Service for Students

Campus Technology wrote an article about Oakland City University’s decision to implement SunGard Higher Education PowerCAMPUS.  “A private university with 2,100 students in Indiana, will be implementing a hosted system from SunGard Higher Education. The institution, which is already a SunGard Banner customer, said it's licensing PowerCAMPUS Digital Campus to improve self-service for the campus community.

‘PowerCampus will help us to offer our students a range of online capabilities so that they can manage the subordinate tasks necessary to support their academic experience online and at their convenience, without having to take the time to come to campus,’ said Robert Yeager, vice president for administration and finance. ‘We want to create a user-friendly environment to give our constituents a better experience, and enhance our communications from department to department and individual to individual.’"
