SunGard
Higher Education Introduces Advancement Performance Solution
MALVERN,
Pa., July 20, 2010 — SunGard Higher
Education announces the availability of Advancement Performance, a solution
that helps advancement offices more easily measure campaign progress, manage
prospect pipelines, understand trends and predict behaviors and outcomes.
Designed
to give better visibility into the performance of advancement activities,
Advancement Performance delivers a tightly integrated package of advancement
scorecards, dashboards, reports, key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics
capabilities coupled with a data warehouse. It helps advancement offices organize data,
manage the prospect pipeline and gain insight into institutional fundraising
performance to provide up-to-date and accurate information to identify and
prioritize new funding opportunities or pinpoint potential areas of
improvement.
Advancement
Performance supports SunGard Higher Education’s Open Digital Campus vision, which aims to give colleges, universities and foundations more flexibility
to shape how technology meets their evolving needs.
Advancement
Performance offers a quick time to value by providing 60- and 90-day
implementation options. Advancement and campaign executives and managers can benefit from an out-of-the-box
tool to help articulate and communicate strategies and goals across the
institution, as well as monitor key performance indicators through detailed
reports to verify that progress is in line with goals or be alerted in a timely
manner so corrective action can be taken.
Pre-configured
performance dashboards help advancement officers monitor fundraising
performance quickly and easily. Institutions
can modify or add other dashboards at any time. Additionally, ad-hoc querying, reporting and
analytics allow fast, easy creation of unanticipated, on-demand queries and
reports. Advancement
Performance seamlessly integrates with SunGard Higher Education’s Advance and
Banner Advancement solutions, providing access to
important data and helping institutions
realize a lower total cost of ownership.
“The largest cost of building a business
intelligence solution is integrating data from disparate operational systems to
create a shared repository of information,” said Fred Weiss, senior vice
president, strategy and portfolio
management at SunGard Higher Education. “Advancement
Performance helps eliminate
the cost and effort of developing custom integrations and refocuses attention
on data analysis and achieving fundraising goals. This
is another great example of how we are delivering on our Open Digital Campus
vision and providing customers with technology options.”
SunGard Higher
Education will attend the CASE Summit for Advancement Leaders conference, July 18-20, 2010 in New York. Staff will be available to discuss SunGard Higher
Education’s comprehensive advancement solutions, including the new Advancement
Performance solution, which are all developed specifically for use by higher
education institutions to help manage alumni relations programs, fundraising
campaigns and business processes.
